Christen A. Carson, PhD, ABPP, is a clinical and forensic psychologist specializing in civil and criminal forensic evaluations. Although based in Seattle, Washington, her work extends nationally. Dr. Carson serves on the faculty of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology and is the current President of the American Board of Couple and Family Psychology. She is also a past president of the Washington State Psychological Association. She has served as a Clinical Case Consultant at Harvard Law School. She has presented nationally on juvenile and emerging adult brain development, highlighting its implications for legal considerations and sentencing practices.
